Blow Out In NY

The much maligned offense put up two runs on the scoreboard, one coming in the top of the fifth for a 1-0 lead yesterday afternoon in New York. From there, it went downhill and the Mets coasted, 11-2. KK and the bullpen couldn’t contain the Mets.

J-Roll accounted for the second run with his second career pinch-hit homer. Other came in 2009 vs. San Diego.

Surprised the Phillies lost yesterday? Hey, it was Wednesday and they are now 4-12 on that day. Don’t schedule any Wednesday games next year.
