The Bull debuted on the Phillies in Sept 1970 (still shy of his 20th birthday), and played for us thru the 1980 season, so that would make 11 seasons. The Bull was AWESOME! He was my hero growing up (I was 6 – 16 years old during his Phillies career). Where do we find hitters like that?!? We could use a stick like his right now!
