Kruk in Camp

Another big crowd for today’s Yankees game, an ESPN telecast. John Kruk is now part of the network’s Sunday Nigh crew. Just think, ex-Phillies on national TV include Tim McCarver, Mitch Williams, Larry Bowa, Dan Plesac and Jim Kaat.

MLB Network’s 30 camps in 30 days show will be in Clearwater on Friday, including Mitch.

Tomorrow is a day off. With a 7:05 p.m. game in Ft. Myers (Red Sox) on Thursday, the day off stretches somewhat into Thursday. Bus leaves at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Back to Clearwater for the Braves on Friday afternoon.

Once BP ended this morning, Billmeyer took Kratz to the half field to work on throwing to second base. Some hitters went to the cages for extra work.
