Numbers
After tonight, the Phillies have 50 games left on the schedule, 24 against teams with losing records, which really doesn’t mean much when you get to this point in the season.  They have ten more games with Washington and eight with the Marlins.

All the other opponents are still in the October hunt.

Charity Event
Karen and Jaime Moyer held their first “Celebrity Waiters Dinner & Auction” for the benefit of the Moyer Foundation and its Camp Erin Philly.  Over $240,000 was raised last night in the Diamond Club at Citizens Bank Park.

Several of Moyer’s teammates were waiters, serving dinner and drinks.  Happy to say, none of the player/waiters spilled any of the wine.  Matter of fact, there were no dry cleaning needs at all.  Complete coverage can be found at:
