Michael Zagurski, a 24-year-old lefty reliever with the Clearwater Threshers, is chalking up strikeouts at a frightening pace. Through last night, he has struck out 26 in 13.1 innings over nine appearances. He’s allowed with base runners (five hits, three walks) and two runs. The third-year pro was a 12th round selection out of the University of Kansas in 2005.
