June 19
1982 Pete Rose scores 1,950th run to pass Stan Musial for 3rd place on all-time NL list. 

June 20
1883 Boston scores the most runs ever against the Phillies, 29-4.

June 21
1964 RHP Jim Bunning pitches perfect game against the New York Mets at Shea Stadium, 6-0, in the first game of a Sunday afternoon doubleheader on Father’s Day.  RHP Rick Wise won his first Major League game in the second game, 8-2, allowing only 3 hits.

June 22
1959 LHP Sandy Koufax strikes out 16 Phillies in 6-2 win in Los Angeles, the most strikeouts  against the Phils.  Two other times, 1962 and 1966, Koufax would match that figure versus the Phillies.

June 23
1971 RHP Rick Wise became the first pitcher in baseball history to hit two home runs in pitching a no-hitter, 4-0, sgainst the Reds in Cincinnati.

June 24
1994 Phillies sign two free agents, LHP Fernando Valenzuela and INF Randy Ready.

June 25
1986 Phillies release LHP Steve Carlton.  “Lefty” appeared in 499 games, won 241, walked 1,252 and struck out 3,031, all Phillies career records.
